Early life and education
Rhona Natasha Mitra was born under the zodiac sign of Leo on 9 August 1976, in Paddington, London, England, thus she holds British nationality although she comes from a family of Irish, English, Bengali and Indian descent.

After her parents transferred her to another school, she said that the other girls would blame her whenever they were caught for something, ‘so all the parents wrote in and said they didn’t want me at the school. I crammed my exams in London and did fine,’ added Rhona.

She had an interest in acting from an early age, and when she was nine, she met Judi Dench, a famous popular actress, mother to one of her classmates, and although she didn’t know that Judi was an actress, Rhona thought that she was an extraordinary woman, and after her friend told her about his mother’s occupation, she decided what she would do when she grew-up.
