"I found these pudding shots on the TOH board. I've made this many different times and I'm not allowed to attend the annual family reunion weekend without bringing these. I've switched out the irish cream liquor and used raspberry schnapps and cheesecake pudding, lemon schnapps and lemon pudding, rootbeer schnapps and vanilla pudding, plus many other combos. Any flavor combination that you can find a complimentary liquor for will work."

  1. Try making the Guiness Stout cupcakes and hollow a small area in the middle. Fill with pudding shots and frost with the Baileys cream cheese frosting. Yummy!!!!!

  2. I made these yesterday (3 different flavors--pumpkin w/cinnamon and spice Cool Whip, French vanilla pudding w/French vanilla Cool Whip and chocolate pudding with extra creamy Cool Whip) for New Year's Eve using Bailey's with a hint of mint chocolate and cherry vodka for each batch and they turned out perfect . I put the alcohol in the fridge for a few hours so that it was cold when I added it to the recipe and I put them in the deep freezer to chill for approx. 6 hours (if you don't have a deep freezer I would suggest freezing them for 24 hours) and they had the consistency of ice cream until they started to thaw. They were a big hit and I will be making them again in the future.

  3. I loved these! I probably filled the glasses too much, so they didn't turn out like shots. I ended up eating it with a spoon, but it doesn't matter because it's boozy and delicious!

  4. Delicious!!! I used vanilla pudding, cake vodka and buttershots! It was delicious and I would've rather had used Irish Cream, but buttershots was all I had on hand! I plan on trying the cheesecake with raspberry schnapps and vanilla with root beer schnapps! Those both sound wonderful :) Thanks for a great recipe!

  5. I had a friend make pumpkin pie pudding shots...not sure her exact recipe but I've decided I'm going to try egg nog in place of milk, captain Morgan in place of vodka, cheesecake pudding mix, pumpkin pie spice and canned pumpkin. Going to still use cool whip too as I think they'll hold together a little better...I'll post later and let everyone know how it turns out!

  2. I just made the pumpkin pie pudding shots (Thank you Amers) and they turned out great!! I kinda followed Amers advice but did use whip cream vodka and Spiced rum...I used milk instead of the egg nog...canned pumpkin (3/4 cup), pumpkin spice and ground cinnamon...I used the 20 serving recipe...yum!!!

  3. Made these for a Christmas Cookie Exchange Party and they were a hit! Substituted Pomegranite Schnapps for the Irish cream and I used Cheesecake pudding for the chocolate pudding. They were delicious!

  4. I have made these several times for get-togethers and they are always a big hit. Substitute the chocolate pudding with pumpkin pie pudding mix and it makes a great seasonal treat!

  5. I am famous for this recipe! I, too, found it on the TOH board and have been making it for years. I have used Kahlua in place of the Bailey's Irish Cream but the Bailey's does seem to be the preferred taste. I use the bathroom size plastic Dixie cups and serve them individually with a dollop of Readi-Wip. Have spoons available.
