When it comes to finding a long-term career, we know how important it is to join a company that holds the same values as you.Sodexo is seeking an in-unit Human Resources Manager 2 for Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center located in Baton Rouge, LA. This HR Manager role will provide support to Frontline and management staff in our food and environmental services segments, while working to drive, design, implement and manage HR programs while ensuring compliance with all HR policies and procedures. The HR Manager will come with a background human resource management with a proven ability to partner with department management teams and foster culture.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a high attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and have the ability to support multiple HR projects. The role requires critical thinking, presentation skills, ability to pivot, effective communication and organization/project management skills, and collaboration across functions.

The successful candidate will:

  • recruit and onboard frontline hires utilizing onboarding and payroll systems.
  • possess knowledge of state and federal HR laws.
  • maintain active and terminated employee files.
  • coordinate and conduct required monthly training.
  • possess excellent customer service skills for phone conversations and email responses.
  • possess strong time management and organizational skills.
  • work well independently and as part of a team.
  • understand and respect sensitive and confidential information.
  • have excellent computer skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as the ability to learn additional computer programs as needed.
  • complete special projects based on business needs regarding human resources data and analysis.
  • demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities and meet time demands.

  • have excellent organization, communication and project management skills.
